I strive for two things in design: authenticity and clarity. Great design is born of those things.

Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen

An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea

An Impossible Designer

Ivy is a creative powerhouse with a degree from a prestigious college in Fashion design and has commanded films featuring actors whose names you’d know. Living by the motto of “YOLO”, she has learned to master the art of the selfie without duck lips....

No Obligation

How many times do we catch ourselves doing what we believe we have to do, or should be doing? I have lived moments of my life filled with these false beliefs, but I want none of that in my design....

Better understanding of the #ImpossiblyInnovativeDesign

Design is an expression of the immaterial made tangible, be it of simplicity, sophistication, mystique or persuasion. With Ivy Gun Inc., custom design meets technology meets imagination — with impossibilities made physical and the art of creation taking mesmerizing new shapes and turns. From conception to application of custom furniture, mechanical design, architectural additions and home accents that have no parallel, Ivy Lilou Gunn is a multidisciplinary designer that is at one with the materials, colours and styles that give objects and places a distinct identity. We work with people and companies whose objective is our opportunity to expand the scope of design and give both things and locations a quality quite unlike anything else.

Our work

For the Bigger Picture - Private collection portfolio overlay

From fully-functional and idly-aesthetic to just downright curious, Ivy’s work plays tunes across the practical elements of life as well as the occasional shade of existential enigma. With a talented background in welding and machining overarched by cad drawing and rendering services for all things heavy, light or visual, Ivy makes use of a unique brand of design that’s never quite contained or predictable and gives ideas both extensions and a boundary. As an impossible designer, she’s able to utilize her vast experience and give meaning to materials that can be anything from the traditional to the cutting-edge, with a transient form that leaves everlasting and valuable concepts in its place.
